Note: Don't read this as a criticism- we've actually been doing pretty decent overall considering our lower numbers- but rather as reminders and notes to any newer members we might get. These are just general things to think about. Most people already do all this.
1. Treat it like Abyssea- carry whatever alternate weapons types you can. For warrior, that means carry pretty much everything. It's good to have more than 1 person working on a stagger, much like we typically do for magic staggers.
2. If you're blitzing, be sure to get a fanatic's drink (or fool's, depending on the monster) before the stagger wears- especially if said monster has a very powerful AoE attack. (Hi Flank Opening.)
3. If lights are low, pull back if the monster isn't staggered and you don't have hate- to a location away from the mages if possible. We want to at least try to get something other than logs.
However, there may be rare exceptions where we just need to zerg as hard as we can. If this is the plan, you'll know beforehand.
4. Inversely, if lights are capped and the monster is at low HP, don't waste time on nq staggers- just kill.
5. Do your best to pay attention to party chat. If you see a stagger, tell everyone what it is (weapon/magic type, job, element, quality, etc)
Tip: One way to help deal with battle spam is to go into the config and change party chat to "Hold."
6. Ascetic's tonic can be helpful in getting a difficult to land enfeeble to take effect.
7.Finally, if anyone is missing a periapt for temporary items, be sure to mention it. The higher tiers are pretty much impossible without them.
